A customer's note...
Finally, a reputable company for an aspiring cook/seasoned chef in need of saffron! After having been duped so many times buying fake saffron, I finally came across SAHAR SAFFRON.
Wanting to taste saffron from saffron-producing countries, I ordered the sample pack. My order was processed lightning fast. I received my order in due time. I knew I right away would be getting the real thing because I saw Krokos Kozanis, the Greek saffron I got when I visited Athens. Wanting to taste one of the samples, I used the Baby Saffron for my Filipino rice dish-Arroz Valenciana (Spanish paella minus the seafoods). My husband, the most picky eater a wife could find, enjoyed it immensely. The yellow color was awesome, but even more awesome was the aroma and taste of the rice dish
My next dish will be Arroz Caldo (Filipino rice chicken soup). Then this will be followed by Spanish paella. Then another rice dish, and so on and on. And of course, I will try puting saffron threads on my white wine and on my scrambled eggs as per your suggestion.
Thank you, SAHAR SAFFRON! You saved me from having to plant saffron corms just so I can get the real saffron! The only downside---I will have to keep cooking!
