The town of Pampore near Srinagar is located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K State), India. At an elevation of about 5100 feet above the sea level Pampore has been producing saffron for over 2500 years and it has been well known for producing the highest quality of Kashmiri saffron. It has been written that this land was blessed by a Saint several centuries ago.
The Kashmiri saffron we are offering to you is produced and packaged by Royal Saffron Company located in Pampore, the heartland of saffron. This Kashmiri saffron is fresh (2011 crop). It is grade I, all red, 100% pure. It comes in one ounce (28.35 grams) airtight plastic container that is simple, attractive, practical, and long lasting.
