The freshly harvested Iranian saffron that is now available is Sargol Grade I saffron, 100% pure, all red long threads with a record-breaking coloring strength (UCP) of 288! A saffron of such exquisite quality is rare. Only a small number of farms have the ability to produce such a high end product. This saffron is truly an excellent gift. It is imported only in 25 gram bags in order to protect the precious threads from getting crushed (see Photo C). Smaller quantities can be prepared for shipment in one gram and/or five gram jars. Sahar Saffron is USFDA certified.
